Earlier than usual....temperature just climbing out of the 40F and definately a nippy little wind out there this morning and weather forecasters saying it will continue for most of this week.

So early summer news is that last seasons loanee Owen Dale has been released by Oxford and Tom Cleverley is interested in bringing him to Argyle.....if of course we can agree terms with him.

Checked Oxford not606 forum to see their views on Owen Dale's release......end result is that Oxford not606 literally doesn't exist.....so their supporters don't seem to be fairing any better than their relegated to Div One team.

What next then........start driving on the righthand side of the road and spend £billions replacing all our road markings and signs......and then the numerous deaths that will occur because of the millions of cars with their steering wheels not conforming to the new road conditions just because this is how the EU drive.

Fahrenheit has suited me for 87 yrs.....it can go on for a little longer.

Ive lived in Canada for 55yrs now and still once in a while i will get in the wrong side of the car.

Just image 60 million people driving and crossing the road looking the wrong way first if we did swap sides.......Undertakers would become an expanding business.

How about this for summer news........Drop in temperature this lunchtime.....wind picked up.....and then we had thunder and lighting....followed by a heavy burst of large hailstones......which very quickly covered the ground......mid May on the calendar but no one has told the weather that.

Play-Offs.
Stockport...2-0...Stevenage......(win 3-0 on agg)

So Stockport go to Wembley.

Play-Offs.
Bradford...0-1...Bolton......(win 2-0 on agg)

Bolton v Stockport at Wembley.

Driving on the other side of the road is not an issue. Driving a RHD car on the right is a different matter.

As against that, cars should be cheaper: no need for left to right conversion…. And with regulations also aligned, we’d have more choice where we bought our cars. The benefits of a bigger more open market……

Only one team above us in the pyramid.

Joe Edwards contract renewal with Argyle....doesn't seem to be going smoothly.

Reading around it is suggesting that Edwards had received a "similar" offer than before.....and because Edwards was happy to stay he was going to accept it.

But talk is that he might of been approached from Div One or Two clubs with maybe better offers......this is probably why he as yet not signed a new contract.

One other reason that wages might be effected is the Governments increase in National Insurance contributions which is estimated to be costing PAFC an extra £100,000 per year.

I am amazed that nobody has mentioned this by now. Southampton thrown out of the play offs and Middlesborough re-instated. I am quietly pleased to hear this and it is about time the FA impossed a just punishment. Besides that we might also get a few quid for Whittaker playing in the Prem......

It sounds serious doesn’t it until you see this picture.

I mean if I was asked to do this, I’d have been straight down the Army & Navy Surplus and picked up a stealthy drone and a pair of Navy binoculars as advertised in “Sink the Bismark”. I’d have checked out the roofs of nearby tower blocks.

This is a bloke who can’t even hide behind a tree properly with an iPhone for crissake.

The only thing he’s done right is leave his red & white striped “Southampton FC Spying Department” hoodie at home. Probably in the wash.

I suppose this is again symptomatic of the recent shift in tactics with a much larger proportion of goals coming from set pieces. Seeing your opponents’ corners and free kicks in advance and how they will defend yours would be a big deal.
