SUMMER NEWS 2018

I am always cooking at home and enjoy that .. i find it relaxing and you dont have to think to much to be able to cook.. so that is easy for me

 

Some people like cooking with wine....some even goes in the cooking.

 

Plymouth Argyle have arranged an extra pre-season match at SV Schermbeck a 6th tier German team on Tues Jul 24th during their Dutch training camp.

 

The trip to Sunderland is gunna be a long one

 

Argyle have odds of 28-1 to top Div 1 next May, that makes them 19th favourite.

Favourites are.

1st.....Sunderland....4-1
2nd.....Barnsley......13-2
3rd.....Charlton.......11-1
4th.....Portsmouth..12-1

 

Wow. That's a short price for us considering we've just been relegated twice on the bounce.

 

The boys and girls are used to it CBD. Our nearest away trip is over 200 miles round trip. You will find though that they turn up in numbers unless the FA do their usual for the longest trip and make it a Tuesday. Believe me that could easily happen.

As for the odds on promotion it was bound to be and I don't think you are truly that surprised. With drop money still in play you will have a budget most of this league can only dream of. It doesn't always count but lets face it it should. There are one or two clubs who will automatically think they should be promoted of course but there will be a shock or two no doubt. All I hope for is that the best teams win through whoever they may be.

 

Worth a punt on plymouth

Norwich are showing interest in goalkeepers Dean Henderson and Danny Ward to solve their keeper problem since Angus Gunn has returned to his parent club.

Where does this leave Demi Matthews.....permanent No2....will he want that ?

 

Meant to mention it's on the Herald and therefore just speculation. Would be a good fit though and scores a few.

 

Derek Adams talking to Plymouth Live, has said, that the next 10 days should bring the possibility of signing new players....we have agreements in place with some players.
We are waiting word back from 5 senior players.....Bradley, Fox, Letheren, Sawyer and Songo'o ....who have all been offered very good contracts to stay.
Pre-season training starts on Wednesday 27th of June and we're hoping to have senior players back and some new signings as well.

 

Exeter haven't wasted anytime in replacing Tisdale....ex- Exeter defender Matt Taylor 36 years old has been given the job only hours into the vacancy.

If some of our contract offered players intend to accept....then get on with it and stop poncing around....Derek Adams needs to know where he stands...so he can get on with bringing in new players where necessary.

 

All is in hand Plym- I 'expect' there will be plenty of news over the next couple of weeks.
