Still keeping fingers crossed for Maldives next month. The whole "Tui cancelled my holiday" noise seems to be dying down on Facebook (or so Mrs TC tells me)

Thought I would bump this and see where everyone is off to this summer, Costa Adeje for us, 5 weeks time, cant wait to turn that out of office on. Got a week in Turkey booked in early September as well.
Maldives - July
Portofino - August
Canada - October

Only one of those trips is with the kids...

Off to Oz tomorrow for 6 or more weeks, no wife also.
Been trying to convince the wife we should take a trip over there, she just won’t entertain it, apparently all the wildlife are deadly ! Wasn’t planning on wrestling Crocs or snake charming or owt I just wanted to spend some time in Sidney or Melbourne.

Do like me and go without the wife, she hates flying esp long haul. Six weeks with brother and nephews.
Think it was last year he found a snake in his back garden, lots of spiders, supposedly the big ones are best to keep around to eat the smaller deadlier ones in check.

Sydney is an absolutely brilliant city, I would definitely recommend it! When we went in January were did a stop over in Kuala Lumpur on the way over and Dubai on the way back, only a few days each time but it broke up the flights.

If you're missus is concerned tell her not to be, I've been over there 3 times and I haven't seen anything, even this time and we went into a park near Canberra where they have 3 different species of snake.

Majorca in the summer. There's a solar eclipse on the 12th August and the island is in it's direct path so fingers crossed for a clear evening that day.

Going to Port de Soller. It's on the north west corner of the island. It's still very Spanish and not touristy in that part of the island. The Tramuntana mountains are stunning. We're planning on doing some hiking and mooching around the pretty towns and villages. If it's too hot and not safe in the mountains, we'll have to get the local bus instead of doing the hiking. Going to Palma on the wooden train one day for a look around there.

Nothing else planned yet, but I'm hoping to book some European adventures after August 28th :emoticon-0103-cool:

Seeing as it’s been bumped.

Back to Sanur, Bali in a couple of weeks. Twelve days of doing nothing but drinking Bintang, the odd cocktail and having a swim. And on the second last day there, getting a tattoo done.
Let me know where you get your tattoo done.
According to the doc's my wife can travel overseas in about 2 years time so will have plenty of time to save up for new ink work :)

That looks class mate, I've never been to Egypt but my wife has when she was younger and she said it was superb. She's been wanting us to book up with the kids for the last few years.

We are heading back to Turkey in August, going back to the same hotel as last year.
