If you're looking for a pub with the match on, head to The Salisbury Arms in Sliema. The Malta branch watch the games there
I'm in St Paul's Bay, at least that's what the hotel reckons, I would place it on the sea front at Bugibba. Been scoping the place out and found a sports bar 5 mins walk away that shows premiership games.

When we go to Malta we usually end up that way so I've got an idea where you're roughly at. Sliema is roughly a half an hour bus trip

I hope you are feeling better today
We went to see the castle in Sirmione today it’s very nice around here

Went to Sirmione for the day when I went to Garda, ran into a group of SAFC fans,

bloody loved it

Aye, we've been a few times and usually stay this way. Love to get the bus to St Julians and walk round to Sliema then hop on the ferry to Valetta.

Airport parking has become ridiculously expensive, it’s actually cheaper for us to book a return taxi. Used to be able to get codes but even they are few and far between.
I prefer to take the car as we land late at night and have been dropped in it by a taxi a few times. Nowt worse than standing in the cold and rain waiting for a taxi, going to have to just bite the bullet and pay it. £115 for a week is robbery

We used to do the same but like you say VAR parking has gone through the roof! The flight times from the Canaries are not the best and get back here in the early hours so we decided to get a taxi, least that way I can still chill a bit with a few beers rather than just waiting to get picked up from the hotel

The drop off charge is £4 I think now as well so if family drop you off it still costs nearly £10

Is that Newcastle?

If the people you're picking up or dropping off are ok with a short walk, you get 15 mins free in short stay 2. There's a slight ramp out of the car park and you have to cross the car park access road, but then it's a few minutes flat walk to the terminal under a covered walkway. My Mam manages it with luggage and she's mid 70's!

Go into the airport and turn left by the petrol station, then left into car parks. You need the first set of barriers on the right. Drive in, turn right, turn right again and drive up to some drop off bays next to monitor screens. As long as you take less than 15 mins, you can just leave without paying.

If you're collecting, there's a layby on the road outside the airport or you can park on the flyover bridge before the airport. I hang around there until they tell me they're through baggage and customs. By the time they walk down and I drive in, we usually get to the collection bays at the same time.
