Like I said, Tello plus Kono will cost about £20m combined, same price as what we could get Lallana for. Also if it's true and they want £30m for him then definitely not, we could get 3 players for that, or 2 real good players <ok>

Kono and Firmo are the two attackers we should be looking at. And if we're gonna spunk £25m on a player, let it be Firmino.

We have Champions League football, we play the best football in England, we promote youth, the manager is a great coach and motivator - we now have a bigger pool of players to choose from now.

The likes of Lallana would have been good last season when we struggled to sign players. But now we go for the best talents - Firmino, Reus, Ricardo Rodriguez, Mateo Kovacevic.

Not knocking Lallana btw, I think he's a good player but £25m for a player who has had 1 good season? Far too much.

Not sure about that, I'd be happy with them- but suspect we'll pay more than £20m to get both... happy if we don't.

We met Eugene Linnet's £16million buy out clause in January and they didn't sell. (Batards! How dare they not sell when we met their buyout clause!)

I bet we will still need to pay £16mill or more to get Eugene this summer. The owner is determined not to sell and see out his contract.

Just don't agree and comparing him to play instead of Lucas?? No, we need a box to box midfielder.

Not sure on Lallana. £15m probably. £20m? That's a lot for someone who is 25 and only had 1 very good season in the Premiership. Understand he's ben good for them for a number of years but only really one at the top level which makes it a risk.

Could be a good signing and add more goals from midfield though.

    Lallana.

  11. Cheers. If it had been less £s and a season two ago (for us) I'd have been up for it. However, its too much for a player in a position where we have Coutinho, Sterling and Suso already.

I agree <ok> have no problem getting another attacking player, put it this way Moses, Aspas and Assaidi all suck so we need at least one more attacking option to replace one of them, and then Suso and Borini to come back and fill in for the other two.

But sorting the defence out should be priority, and then midfield.

We need a winger not more attacking mids.

Surely a Winger is an attacking player? Didn't necessarily say we need more attacking mids, however I do agree that a winger is what we need.

  15. Midfield should be priority. The defence isn't as bad as it appears imo. We could do with a FB or two and a CB depending on Glen and Agger but we need a top quality CM imo

I'd like to keep Enrique, but if he struggles with his injuries next season then I'd be inclined to get rid. Johnson can **** off, he's gash and he takes home 90k a week for doing **** all.

  17. We can't go changing too much either. We need two or three additions plus replacements for whoever leaves imo. However, we don't want to be seeing six or seven players arriving either.

    Definitely not, look at Spurs.

Replace those who are sold and then like you say buy maybe 2 or 3 more players. Also with Wisdom, Suso, Borini. Ilori etc coming back into the team we'll have more depth for CL footy. Keeping Suarez is vital too, hopefully he'll stay for another season and see what happens after next season.

  19. I don't mind seeing six or seven come in so long as they are the right type of signings. No more than four (maximum) first team players, they rest should be potential that are able to offer backup to fit in with our recruitment policy.

Who from the mid-table and below from the prem would anyone take? Surely some punts on Newkie player or two, Santon or Debuchy for example?
