Well I think its a bit boring when you have to scroll through countless pages of arguments that have been started by him or Tobes in almost every thread.
He put up a fair point but I understand where you're coming from, I'm sure UIRs after some quality, objective and healthy debates rather than pointlessly arguing in order to kill time and score phantom points.. It's just banter really!
Who needs defenders? Just put Skrtel at the back alone with the keeper- and have 9 blokes attacking. We'll concede-but we'll also win games by outscoring the opposition.
Yeah hes harmless compared to others but he has admitted in the past that all he does is "set little traps" in his own words, I think he thinks hes some kind of wum mastermind when hes just a boring mug.
IMO we need: a versatile winger who can play across the front 3 Realistically - Tello, Kono etc. Unlikely - Reus, Pedro, Sanchez etc. a LB Realistically - Ricardo Rodriguez, Coentrao etc. Unlikely - Shaw (overpriced), Ashley Cole (inflated wages) a well-rounded CM Realistically - (I reckon we'll probably bring in one established midfielder at the most, alongside a younger prospect) We would benefit from: a young, up and coming striker another CM who can defend, retain the ball and link up with the attack a RB a CB (we would not benefit from another prospect! A more established CB only, especially if we manage to shift Toure) a GK (David Marshall?) I'm aware I've listed basically all positions, but depth is important! Need to get rid of Aspas (£3m+) Moses (Send back) Cissokho (Send back) Kelly (£2m at most?) Assaidi (£2.5m+) Johnson (£5m+) (especially if his wages are anywhere near £90,000 p/week!) Toure (Free) (astronomical wages which could be re-invested) Jones (Whatever we can get) Keep hold of: Borini - one season won't hurt his value and we can see what he can do in the cup cames potentially Suso - lots of talent and potential, had a good season out on loan
Yeah I've actually been lurking for a good few months, well actually probably the whole season but not been posting as much. All is well and exams are in June so fingers crossed!

Myself and many on here have a number of good debates regarding the good and bad about both our clubs. Much better than petty arguments.
Lambananalana for 30mill is the rumour, **** me if we go ahead with that! Good player, yes. Could be a great midfielder, absolutely. If he was foreign right now, you'd be looking at 15mill. He's English, so he's doubled. Stay away tbh. Same for Shaw, could be a top LB, 12-15mill tops if he was foreign, but we'll double that to 30. Again, steer clear. Huge gambles. If Lalana really has his heart set on a move here, he'll wait til next season. I suspect he won't...
