Agree with RHC, there is still a big signing or two left for you I think. Gerrard won't cope playing twice a week so you need a top quality DM.
Well I can't see reus given the total surprise mooted at any thought of it and I really don't know about vidal.. why buy markovic if you've got sterling and why buy lallana then this lad? then again why bother loan out wisdom and take in a guy the exact same from atetico? why buy remy and lambert and origi then? none are good enough to be CL first 11 IMO at this point... so i dunno there again but why take them in at all if not to play. I don't really know. There is plenty of cash though. I am saying i don't see another attacking player but obviously i think the defense will be bought for next. lovern rumours just keep rumbling on and this unknown who played 3 times for atletico is mooted to join
I see Can as Gerrards replacement, to be gradually introduced this season so Gerrard can start on the bench in the games in the prem against teams we should beat. Also he will get league/FA Cup games.
could be the case. I am one for the one out one in method. I don't mind if we've the cash and the right player is available that you bring him in but having extras milling about only wastes wages and their time and the squad morale. eg. if we buy another DM lucas has to go first. If we buy lovern a CB simply must go. Kolo for sure, coates probably anyway but an agger type should really have to be looked at. However at LB the situation is different.

Not to bothered by Vidal, ok he's better than anything we have at AM but it's not where we need to strengthen only benefit would be to stop unted getting him. We still need a CB, RB and a Striker I would like to have a look benzema but I don't see it happening, louvren would be good but we already offered enough.
i agree but was told benzema's not a top top player cos he doesn't get 30-50 goals a year in spain. LFC have a 25 man squad IMO barring LB cover so I think we should shift players and then buy the top player.
so whats the solution pay them wages and pay new players wages and end up bust.. OR controversially pull a rafa or mourinho and let the player knowin no uncertain terms they are out. I mean harsh as it sounds lucas and borini get preseason games and pats on the back and hugs from rodgers and we all know they are f'd. they can just sit and bide their time as a result. If a guy who wants a career is shown he must move to even get 5 mins in preseason he'll move. borini should never have been in the squad to go to us on the grounds that his heads not right.. that tells him he's not rated and has no place but prevents him looking in the right when moaning. I mean if reina can be shafted then sent on loan then surely we can learn and do it right.
This. I'm sure if Rodgers had a quiet word with Borini and explained that he wasn't needed then he'd be off. Think he's got to be ruthless if he wants to thin out the squad.
This borini thing is a bit of a fiasco. 14 million ffs!! We should have refused to take him on tour. It doesn't say much of him that he's not willing to move to a club that can guarantee a starting place and would rather be 5th in the pecking order with us

Sorry Mito, I'm confused...you repeatedly and repeatedly criticise Rodgers for his approach to Reina but now insist it should be used for Lucas and Borini????? Which is it, wrong or right behaviour..... Personally with the Borini one anyway I understood the call. He did the same thing with Henderson and it worked in our favour as Hendo pulled his socks up and changed BR's mind. I honestly think BR thought he was going through the motions showing he'd give the chance and could then "freeze" the guy out when he failed. Hendo proved him wrong and worked hard. And in my opinion the difference between Borini, Hendo and Lucas vs say Reina and Agger. The former didn't whine in public like little bitches they stated they want to stay at the club not threaten that they are looking elsewhere.......I know who I'd give the extra chances to...... I personally agree that I don't think Borini will come good but that's our problem. We gave him the long contract and we ask for players who want to be here and who put in the effort. Can't criticise him for then doing just that (there's no suggestion he's not tried hard wearing our shirt). Our problem if we now don't believe he's the best for the squad..... Lol, we sit and say we understand why foreign players dont want to come to Liverpool due to location and weather then insist one of ours goes further north to Sunderland!!!
