Explain more on the pub or eyebrows thread. I've been away so missed out on all the gossip. OT: I heard we're in for Atletico's fullback.

Odds of us signing Shaqiri have shortened to 7/4 http://www.oddschecker.com/football...dan-shaqiri/club-after-summer-transfer-window
Did he not sign a contract with someone else a few weeks back? I could have sworn he did... if he hasn't then that is good news (yet another attacker... although a bloody good one).
i am not sure but there was word of him off to italy too. the odds though need only a very few bets to reduce them. i can't see why we'd buy lallana other than as a midfielder in a three if we would sign markovic and shaqiri you see... especially with ibe and sterling there... remy, lambert and sturridge as well.
How can this be hope for Liverpool- from the express ------------------- Express: Shaqiri boost for Reds 23rd Jul 2014 - Media Watch Next Story 48 CommentsPrintArchiveLFC To Go This story has been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Liverpool Football Club. Xherdan Shaqiri has given Liverpool an unexpected boost by saying he hasn't been approached by Juventus. Recent reports suggested Juventus were leading the charge for his signature and Shaqiri has attracted interest from Liverpool and Monaco. The 22-year-old playmaker turned in some star performances for Switzerland at the World Cup which has seen his stock rise. Though Shaqiri has been tight-lipped about his future, he admits it is nice to be linked to Juve. "At the moment I am on vacation and I do not know what will happen in the future, all this is taken care of by my brother [who is also the agent]," Shaqiri told Italian paper Tuttosport. "I have a contract with Bayern Munich, which expires in 2016 and today that is the only certainty for me. "Juventus? I have had no contact, just as I do not know of interest from Liverpool and Monaco. "However, Juventus are a great club, who doesn't want to play for them? "To date, I repeat, I am a Bayern Munich player, but for me Juventus would not be a step backwards." Sounds more like he's after going to juventas to me
British press need to put a local spin on it. "Shaqiri is at Bayern but might just fancy Juventus" isn't going to shift many units in this country.
i bet a few blokes read this showed a 5 sport or even a tenner on us getting him and suddenly the odds drop on online betting and wow story.

United have made Vidal their top transfer target this summer and reports today suggested that the club were confident of landing him with a mega bid. However, the Chilean press now report that Liverpool have firmly entered the race for the player and are set to lodge an offer worth £42.5million. El Mercurio says Real Madrid are also in for the player but don’t have the funds to make a deal happen, leaving just Liverpool and United in the race. The Reds have the advantage of offering Champions League football, which could prove to be pivotal in the race for the player. please log in to view this image
