Would definitely have Kono - it's a shame we couldn't get him in January because I fear he could be targeted by other clubs come summer.

Definitely has potential to become world class.

    not sure bluff,

i watched kono as wanted to see what we missed out on in jan and was impressed with him, i know the name griezemann (makes a change as normally never heard of half the players nowdays) but not enough to say how good he is.

who does he play for, try and keep an eye out for him.

Basically it is this.... Kono, in an uknown, unproven league, europa league team but he is a direct and run at you style of player with pace. Griezemann plays Sociedad, played in this year CL, about 5-7 in la liga, not as direct as kono, but much much more intelligent.

Haven't seen either play much but I gather that Kono can play across a variety if positions where as G-man is more of a winger.

Both seem to be good players though and think G-man is slightly younger? Would probably cost more given he's coming from Spain

    Pretty standard.

    Also two rumours:

Liverpool could bid for Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker, 22, if the Bluebirds are relegated from the Premier League this season.

Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Inter Milan's 19-year-old defender Ibrahima Mbaye, who is currently on loan at Serie A club Livorno.

don't sound good for kono then, as why target him if he is not good enough for cl football.

i get that we can get a dif type of player with cl football, but we should have been aiming for that any way, reckon kono is good enough, but who knows.

wasn't there something that said we would go back in for him in the summer anyway? or i imagine it lol.

I assume Rodgers doesnt mean every target will be different. I think Kono will have either way.

If we were to miss out on top 4 I think Rodgers would possible look at loans again to fill a hole until we do get top 4. Take back our Loan guys (Borini, Suso, Wisdom), sign Kono and get in a left back (which could again be a loan).

Since the summer is a cheeky bid now considered to be just £1 over the players potential value?

If you're referring to the Suarez bid then no, it's £29,999,999 less than their value <ok>

Unless you only valued Suarez at £40m <yikes>

Value in the Summer was obviously rumoured at £40mil, because of the made up clause. That does not mean it is the actual value of Suarez

Serious answer, think he'd be a good player, but Chelsea wouldn't sell to us, plus he'd cost too much.

    They can have Aspas <ok>

I rated him before he went too the chavs and was pretty gutted when they signed him tbh, I'd welcome him here providing we didn't pay over the odds for him..

    M. Salah.. hows the bench young man? If he can't get a start against Fulham, then it doesn't bode well for his Chelsea future.

Said the same thing when they first signed him, why the **** would you go to Chavski? He was never going to get picked ahead of Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schurrle or whoever else they've got. I wanted Salah here (one of the few, I think) but he either really over rated himself to believe he'd walk into their first XI, or went for the money.

Either way, Chavs have him now and I'm sure they're loving an expensive bench <ok>

RE Shurrle: Nope. Way too expensive for his quality.
