10 goals in just over 2000 minutes of championship football is a good record.

Quality finisher, quick, runs the channels, presses well and is comfortable playing with his back to goal. Think it would be a good buy if it comes off.

Not concerned about why Leicester are selling him, they've just bought a 32 y/o Ayew for £8m, they clearly aren't looking at youth development right now.

I do worry about the injury that made him nearly fail the Leicester medical and didn't allow him to play for several months afterwards though.

that was back stress fracture wasn’t it? I know nothing about stress fractures but you’d think that once bone heals, it’s healed. Rather than a permanent weakness. You’d hope the physios have helped him strengthen around the area to prevent it happening again.

Is he though? Vardy struggles with injuries now. Daka is pipe and Ihenacho is gone.

They aren’t signing a top striker surely they’d hang on mot him if they thought it was even plausible he make it in the PL?

When he left Preston, I was all for him. What’s happened since? No, not for me.

There’s lists galore of players like this who never make the leap and my gut is he is one of them.

Obv if we sign him he’s R9 reborn…
I’m sure they are in for another striker like

The idea of signing Simic excites me, the idea of signing someone Leicester are happy to let go doesn’t. I’d rather we were signing players who could possibly make it in the PL when we get there.

He can. It’s the wrong time for Leicester. They should be loaning him out but need the cash for first team premier league ready players NOW. They’re ****ed financially.

Cannon would be a supreme fit here btw. We have held a long standing interest in him, so it wouldn't surprise me if we spend our new dosh on him.
I’m sure this is like his third window being linked. Was close to signing on loan before he went to Leicester I’m sure

I have no idea about them either, I don't think we'd splash that much money on someone with a permanent injury problem though so it's not too much of a concern.

Cannon is quality, always impressed me ever since seeing him at Everton u21s. He doesnt have the upside of Simic but i actually think he would score more this season than Simic. Fits our systen really well, proving hes over the injuries then id be all over this

Probably because they are in the premier league. He moved there from Everton for minutes but obviously they had Vardy, Ihenacho and daka. Now they are in the prem he’s back at square 1
He had a major injury. Quite a lot for his age actually

Not struck on cannon over hyped at Everton and way over priced. But I’m sure the club know more than I do

If the club have wanted cannon this long and seeing what I’ve saw of him I’d be happy to go with him. I personally think Cannon, Isidor and Mayenda with us getting a winger in too would be a good route to go down

We need either two of the three linked or one and a winger. So the middle ground for me fee wise is clearly that mendy is one that gets done. The next one is the expensive one of either simic or cannon.
not if Caen dont move on the fee it won't
