We should try to get that young Boro CB instead Ben Gibson - had impressed me more and is left footed which means we could pair him with our right footers.

I don't think he'd join us.

He's just been promoted with his boyhood club and will be getting gametime every week there. We're not in a position where players will be overly desperate to play for us at the moment unless they'll be playing each week.

Don't know unless we try - Champions League football is a lure.

Shame but price was ridiculous. Can't blame them though, he is vital to there hopes of staying up so, to them, probably worth about £40m! Like the Deeney situation.

West Brom are demanding £25m for Jonny Evans <laugh> .... ithey are a seriously flawed club numerically ... Jonny Evans worth twice as much as Jeff Schlupp?

They don't want to lose him so have quoted a stupid price - with Schlupp we didn't mind so we were more realistic.
 
I wonder why he hasnt been given a chance this season - we are basically screaming out for a player just like him!
