According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, the Gunners have submitted a bid to the Serie A club but their proposal did not meet Torino's asking price.
Leicester have enquired about Peres' availability but are yet to firm up their interest.



Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri could also be in the market for cover in that position after Danny Simpson emerged as a target for Sunderland.

According to the Daily Mirror, Simpson is yet to be offered a new deal by the Foxes despite having just one year left on his contract.
