Last couple of years we have got our business done early in the window although the Euros might make that difficult this season. At least no one else is signing up players we are linked with.

Not seen Daka play tbh but he’s got a very good reputation. 433 with the following?

Soumare Ndidi Tielemans
Daka Vardy Barnes

Nacho and Maddison off the bench

Not really for myself, will be concerning if they are unveiled at any of our rivals :bandit:
Apparently the FFP year runs to end of June and this coming year is exempt or something (just what I have read) so talk is that they are waiting until then to confirm. Or they they are on holiday after 2 back to back more or less seasons?

I don't expect any transfers to be announced much before the end of the Euros, players are away on holiday, they aren't flying over to England just to take a couple of pictures.

I read somewhere that overseas deals cant be done before July 1st. This fits the Soumare time frame but doesn't explain why the supposed deal for Bertrand hasn't been announced.
There were links to Gosens, though his price has probably doubled since we enquired.

Depends if we are looking to improve the LB position or just bring in a reliable Fuchs replacement for when JJ/Castagne is/are injured.

Personally I think we need an actual first choice LB - pereira and castagne best rotating on the right, Thomas not quite there yet and Justin injured and may also be needed centrally in a 3.
Shame we missed out on CL as Gosens sounded perfect but only willing to come in CL

Finally, welcome Patson. Already in fantasy and same price as Kelechi, might be a tough choice in weeks to come. Lets hope some of those other rumoured incomings happen and that we dont lose any first teamers.

We have a seriously good midfield now. Belgium out with Youri not having his best tournament thankfully. His legs look gone. As Harbs said if we can get him on an extended contract things a looking pretty rosy. Dont believe the Liverpool Barnes rumours so that only leaves Cags to persuade to stay.

I haven’t ever seen Daka play and limited amounts of Soumare but with the reputations they come with this is shaping up to be a right window! Even Bertrand to follow is an under rated piece of business on a free, basically replacing Fuchs as the experience at full back but a few more years left in him without blocking Thomas who could be one of the best left backs based on his showings so far as a teenager.
Based on who we’ve been linked with, I’d really like us to get Tarkowski as he replace Morgan in the squad as per Bertrand with Fuchs. Then the illusive right winger/wide forward,
That would really set us up well!

Albrighton and Burnley would certainly be a nice fit, i wouldn't want to lose him, as still feel he has a role to play here, though it would probably be a smaller role than one with Burnley, so wouldn't blame him for going either, probably getting a few more years on a new contract.

What i like about these signings is the positive words from the previous clubs fans, its always a good way to measure any new talent coming in.

The only thing, especially with Daka, is that this is a fairly big step up from the Austrian Bundesliga, would probably have had the same reservations about Edouard as well, as there aren't many from Scotland who cement their place in the prem.
