According to the Manchester evening news. Man U are interested in James Maddison but by the sounds of it thats all it is atm. Just interest

Probably Man U will just track him for abit
 
Would rather keep Madders, need creativity, without players like him, we arent going to break into the top 6 or run them close.

On the other hand, if it were a big fee (bigger than the 60m quoted, as its a key position for any team, the ammount of goals he could create, we should be looking for 75m in the current market) and we got Tielemans in, it wouldnt be the end of the world.

We are also linked with 27yo Rangers RB James Tavernier - bit strange as we apparently are going to confirm the signing of James Justin this weekend according to rumours.

Youri Tielemans has said a transfer is moving forward and he hopes to have it sorted this month

He also said he is flattered about being linked with Spurs and Man U

With the new rules regarding walls during free kicks for next season, I hope Maddison doesn't leave - a free kick specialist will be more valuable.

Also Maddison and Tielemans are apparently best mates and one of the main reason Tielemans wants to join us is him - if we let Maddison go, our chances of signing Tielemans drastically drop.

An finally if we do sign Tielemans and then let Maddison leave, Tielemans could revert back to the form that made Monaco want to get rid of him...

Apply the same to keeping Maguire. With VAR defenders cant wrestle him as much when we attack from set peices

Odd move for us to make? I guess he could cover both Ricardo and Chilwell, but surely he knows hes not going to be starting yet. With him and Amartey i guess we will have signifigant cover in those positions.

Maybe Rodgers read that pep started tapping up Chilwell after our match and panicked <laugh>

For what its worth Rob Tanner thinks we will get Tielemans

He said there is an offer on the table worth upto £40M including Silva which Monaco are waiting to see if anyone else betters that offer
 
There is a report in Mexico that Leonardo Ulloa could be returning. He did leave on a permanent deal and I would be shocked if there was anything in it. We have moved on from him and Brendan has already said he doesnt want a target man

I suspect a journalist over there got confusing thinking it was a loan

TBF There isn't anything official from Pachuca saying that it was a transfer - just that he was joining for the 2018/19 season.
