We are linked with Çağlar Söyüncü - a 22yo Turkish CB from Frieberg for around £22m. Worth signing him just for the fancy dohickys around his name. Hopefully is an indicator that Benalouane is leaving rather then Maguire.

The Florists are linked with Danny Simpson.
 
If we got Benkovic and Soyuncu in, i'd happily accept £80m for Maguire <ok>

Though i think if we DO get both in, Man U will lowball for Maguire, catch 22 i guess, sell Maguire at a high price now and hope to god we get 2 in in the next 36 hours, but knowing Rudkins record of getting deals over the line, we'll have Morgan/Evans and Benny for 6 months <laugh>.

Get rid of Benalouane. Keep Maguire and play 352

If we get one or two more centre backs that pretty much covers every ones wish list for the window. We will have a truckload of senior players 30+ to fit into a 25 man squad so we need to start unloading soon. Think we can still transfer out to European teams for another month but there will be some unhappy campers in the next day or two when the prem squad is named.

Although this looks great, nothing suggests that we will play 3 at the back.

I don't think anyones opposed to getting Benny out the door.

You ideally need 4 competent CBs, and if we get both these new CBs in, we'd have 5 vying for what is (at the moment) 2 positions. Morgan, Evans, Maguire, Benkovic and Soyuncu. I don't want the new lads coming in and getting the Dragovic treatment either

If we get Benkovic and Soyuncu though, Puel needs the balls to drop Wes. Nothing wrong with him remaining club captain.

Although i'd love to see us keep Maguire, if we were to get both, it would open the door for the Maguire move the press are gagging for.

IF Maguire is staying I’d sooner get one CB in and another winger where we still look weak. Then again looks like we plan to do business in before out which was our problem last August with Silva so at least we have learnt
 
6 centre halfs is alot even 5 is

Im guessing Benalouane is off but I wouldnt get rid of Morgan. His contract is up in a year but I would keep him as back up until then

Iheanacho, Okazaki, Gray and Diabate played as #10 last season.

Definitely keep Morgan as he has a role to play as we could potentially be bedding in 3 new CBs.

Can see Benny stay for a while as well and maybe even start the next couple of games due to the injuries we have - might do well as he is putting himself in the shop window.

Can't see either of them staying here next season though.

Reports are that Man Utd's other targets have rejected them so they might bid stupid money on Maguire.

We are also linked with Drinkwater again - we would be overstocked on CMs though.

Caglar Soyuncu and Filip Benkovic are close to signing

Filip Benkovic is one for the future and could go into the development squad and Soyuncu will be the first team

Rumour is a fee has been agreed for both and will be having their medicals today.

Im very happy with that. I think Maddison plus the extra attacking option in Periera will cover the loss of Mahrez

I dont think he is anywhere near as big of a loss in that system as he would be in a 442
