We have had alot of dodgy left backs the last 10 years. Only left backs that ive ever had confidence in is Bruno Berner and Christian Fuchs. Ben Chilwell so far looks promising but Fuchs has shown just why he isnt ready to step aside. For me there is very little between Fuchs and Chilwell.

As I’ve seen pointed out elsewhere a low transfer fee is usually made up with a high signing on fee, i.e buying club still pays a lot but money goes to the player not the selling club.
Mawson might be a better option from Swansea
