I rate Albrighton highly and Gray can come on/start in any game and make a difference, but please please please just get another winger in who is actually good and can be a threat.

Diabate is a worse winger than Robert Huth and Ghezzal is so left footed it just is pointless as defending is so easy against it in this league.

Barnes is a number 10 so let’s leave him

It seems like we have lost out on Shoya Nakajima who looks to be signing for Wolves.

Sheffield Utd are interested in Andy King.

We are linked with Danny Welbeck who will be leaving on a free in the summer.

We have taken Ali Reghba on trial - the young Irish forward who people are predicting big things from.

Fenerbahce want to sent Slimani back to us but we told them no as there is no early release clause - apparently he has been so awful for them they are willing to pay us to get rid of him.

Iborra has apparently agreed to join Levante.

Not having a release clause doesnt matter aslong as both clubs agree. Tbh I would have him back. After Vardy he is the best striker we have a leading the line

So players who could move on in January

Andy King, Adrien Silva, Vicente Iborra, Danny Simpson, Shinji Okazaki and Yohan Benalouane

I think we also need to get Diabate and Choudhury out on loan

And we need to sign a striker and possible winger. Leave Benkovic at Celtic and possibly recall Slimani and Barnes

I hope that we can do better then a player who is so terrible in a rubbish league they are willing to pay us to get rid of him.

We aren't linked with anyone else though...

He didn't light the world on fire when he was here before so why would he now?

Atm our depth up front is shocking. I dont think Shinji has scored all year. Iheanacho hasnt looked like the player he did for Man City

Slimani when he has lead the line he has done well for us. He just struggles to play off Vardy. If Vardy is injured for sometime then I would rather Slimani leading the line the Iheanacho and Okazaki atm. Slimani might work well with Iheanacho

I would rather buy someone then Slimani but Slimani is better then no one

Unfortunately I agree although if we bring in Slimani it will be as a #9 as he was awful as #10 behind Vardy.

Otherwise I have just remembered that we are linked with Welbeck.

Welbeck has a badly broken ankle. Better off me digging my boots out

Am seeing the name Mario Ballotelli being knocked around - nothing from even a quarter-decent source, only real link is that he wants to come back to England and currently plays at Puel's old club Nice.

Wouldnt ever touch him. Massively over rated and miles too much trouble then he is worth

We are linked with Emiliano Sala, a 28yo Argintinian striker who plays for Nantes - could potentially fulfill the target man role.

Leeds are after Eldin Jakupovic who has dropped down the pecking order for us.

Man Utd might be willing to go over £70m for Maguire - Mouriniho looking to spend his way out of trouble.

If Man Utd are desperate and go ridiculously big of £80m then I think we’ve shown we can cope without...
Now I wouldn’t have thought we’d be saying that a few weeks ago but sadly I agree. We do seem to have tightened up at the back in the past few games. Might be interesting to see Maguire with Evans though as it’s him and Morgan that don’t seem to work but Morgan and Evans do. I’d still rather drop Morgan though due to age as he’s not a long term option
