We have for about 5 years. Didnt want him then and deffo dont want him nowWe are linked with Andros Townsend again.
Im getting worried that the Mahrez situation has gone very quiet. Surely we don't want to stretch this out until the last days of the transfer window again. Man City probably know that they don't haveto rush to get him and they are shopping around.
If he was to stay, then surely Maddison and Evans would be our only business this window, which would be a 50m spend.
Would love to see Pereira and Mahrez causing trouble on the right wing next season, but thats probably optimistic.
Possible upgrade on Albrighton, but on the other side, imagine the chances Vardy would get playing either side of those twoWe are linked with Andros Townsend again.
I'd take him all day long if/when Mahrez leaves. For CB we currently have Morgan, Maguire, Benalouane and Evans. With Evans in, i can't see Gibson happening, would be good to have competition with 4 central defenders, but unless we are going to have a back 3, i don't see many of them happy to be on the bench.
Maguire and Evans both prefer the leftFor CB we currently have Morgan, Maguire, Benalouane and Evans.
I can see us going for Gibson - is left footed so would work better in the system and can see Morgan leaving as we have a new experienced CB as well as Benalouane who has done sweet FA here.
I think Iborra is a huge calming influence in our midfield and would be a monumentous loss - far more valuable to us than his sheer ability in my eyes.We are linked with RBs James Tavernier from Rangers and Hiroki Sakai Marseille - could mean Simpson and/or Amartey are on their way.
George Thomas is linked with Birmingham on loan.
Iborra is apparently really homesick and wants to go back to Spain.
Frieberg aren't going to sign Kaputska after his loan - apparently he had a really bad attitude and might have a drinking habit.
The Iborra rumour is a word of mouth one - dunno how true it is but it does match up with some other rumours about him leaving.I think Iborra is a huge calming influence in our midfield and would be a monumentous loss - far more valuable to us than his sheer ability in my eyes.
Shame about Kapustka if true - hopefully he’ll come back and get supported if so rather than left to rot
Did he refuse? I don’t remember thatThe Iborra rumour is a word of mouth one - dunno how true it is but it does match up with some other rumours about him leaving.
Regarding Kapustka, apparently it was a quote from one of Freiburg's coaches who also said he was arrogant and didn't train well - can't find an English source but fits with what he was like here when he refused to train with the reserves.
Apparently so - did piss a lot of people off with his attitude here which is why we were willing to take a loss if Freiburg wanted to sign him.Did he refuse? I don’t remember that
I wouldn’t, we should sign players permenantly and develop our own team not develop players for Man UApparently it’s in the papers that we are one of the clubs leading the race to sign at Rashford on loan.
I’d take him definately, but can’t see it happening at all.
Is he young? We are linked with 6"5 Georgian CB Solomon Kvirkvelia from Lokomotiv Moscow - rumours are we have put in a bid of £15m.
Will be fun coming up with a chant for him.
