That's not a bad shout Proud. Is Cahill still up to a full 90 mins each week? I've no idea why he didn't feature much last season. Fitness or out of favour ?

Obviously we're ideally looking for younger but if he could do a job for a season whilst we develop Calgar and Benkovic and look for other potentials.

Cant have Morgan, Evans and Cahill who will all probably look to be winding up their careers in the next couple of years, need someone roughly 25-26 who will be our next big Wes.

Agreed - it’s whether we have someone like Cahill as a stop-gap for a year until Benkovic/Soyuncu is ready to prevent us having to splash the unnecessary cash.

He wants champions league football

Would be an amazing signing but if we did get him which is unlikely. He is younger then Benkovic and Soyuncu and he doesnt know the league
 
Deals coming in thick and fast in the prem now. Always gets me twitchy when clubs who have thus far been quiet suddenly produce all these rabbits out of hats. Cant help thinking 'gee why weren't we after him' . The trouble with doing your main business early. First few weeks of fantasy or prem predictions becomes a bit of a lottery.
