If we sell Cucho, Dennis, Pedro then Sarr I am a bit worried the owners just want to cash in a sell up.
I doubt that really - it's just the way it is in football, players come and go.If we sell Cucho, Dennis, Pedro then Sarr I am a bit worried the owners just want to cash in a sell up.

Cucho apparently wanted to go, so there's little sense in hanging on to an unhappy player.
Dennis leaving actually seems to be a good thing due to his rumoured poor attitude - an attitude which led to his previous club offloading him to us.
It was really inevitable that Sarr would leave - the surprise is that he stayed after the first relegation a couple of years back.
Losing Pedro would hurt us the most in my opinion, which is why the club are determined to hang onto him as long as possible. But if he realises his potential it's inevitable that he will move on to a bigger club.
It simply looks like we just have to keep unearthing gems - such as Asprilla and hopefully the new Brazilian guy Martin's we are trying to sign.
And that’s why he’s not worth selling. He is worth much to us by securing return to the Premiership, which is worth many times more than 40m.No one is laying 40m for a player from the Championship mate.
Whether or not we will lose Sarr (this season, at least) is debatable. When West Ham were chasing Dennis, their fan sites talked about Moyes undertaking background checks on him - which eventually saw them lose interest due to his poor attitude. They also, rightly or wrongly, mentioned the same about Sarr, which may be putting clubs off.Unless Pedro has stated he wants to move on, I think it would be foolish of Watford to sell him if we lose Sarr on top of the others. After all, it was the CEO who openly stated we do not have to sell ( financially wise)

Having said that, we still managed to offload Dennis, so anything is possible.
Oh dear - as I feared agents potentially turning Pedro’s head?
You must log in or register to see media
But they won’t get him for 22 million !!

The plot thickens. The Watford Observer claims that they have been informed by the club that there has not been a second bid. Are the club telling the truth to the Watford Observer or are both Fabrizio Romano (usually quite a reliable source about Watford's transfers) and Adam Leventhal / the Athletic mistaken?
I suspect all the news about the second bid is coming from Newcastle. The Athletic has a couple of Newcastle correspondents. Are Newcastle trying to unsettle João Pedro?
Probably are so he hands in a transfer request.
Does seem to be some confusion - maybe the Athletic were told Newcastle had put in a bid but the club hadn't received it!
Yes - and was one of the best players on Tuesday too.Although I was hoping he wanted stay with us and grow, from the highlights I have seen of the last two games Asprilla has the long term potential to be better than Pedro and Sarr combined
That’s exactly how I feel. I think Joao’s a good lad but perhaps not Prem ready - good to get us back there, though, which is the heart of his value, I believe.Yes - and was one of the best players on Tuesday too.
i get the impression fans generally weren't that bothered about losing Dennis and if Sarr went so be it but Perdo certainly is a crowd favourite and people will be very disappointed to see him leave - some saying he is worth much more than 30 million etc.
Do think if Newcastle do get him they'll see Pedro as a long term prospect rather than one to go straight into the team.
(And the usual "well he isn't actually all that from some)
