So much for Google Translate...:(

Olé points out that striker Mauro Zárate would have asked the Watford leaders, who have a pass until 2019, to approve a transfer to Vélez Sarsfield. The Argentine club, in which it militated during five seasons in two different stages, is not able to realize an important economic outlay.

If we can work out a deal, I'd let Zarate go. With Pereyra back and Hughes being able to play in that kind of position, think we are sorted in that area. If they can't afford any kind of fee, maybe we can see if they have any decent youngsters we can exchange for him (then send straight out on loan...)

Re: Doucoure - I do hope we can keep him. I think between him, Capoue, Cleverley and hopefully Chalobah, we have a strong CM fighting for what I assume will be 2 CM positions - some good strength in depth! This is also assuming Watson and Behrami will go...

Not really a like for like replacement?

Be a risk as he is unproven at this level.
I saw him for Forest in April. Scored twice and was strong and finished well. But like Mark, I'm not sure it's a like for like replacement. Best player on the pitch that day was Forest winger called Carayol though.

I know it's silly season for transfers but this article is ridiculous. It's like we need to do Toulouse a favour:

'Surprising everyone by having a decent campaign in 2016/17 after scraping survival the previous year, Toulouse are intent on building on last year by making moves in the transfer market.

Already picking up Yaya Sanogo on a free from Arsenal, Corentin Jean from Monaco and Steven Fortes from Le Havre, the Ligue 1 side are looking to strengthen their midfield, and someone at Watford has caught their eye.

According to La Dépêche Du Midi in France,Abdoulaye Doucouré is the man Pascal Dupraz is looking at, with Toulouse ‘open to the idea of a loan’ for the 24-year-old.

Capable of playing pretty much anywhere in midfielder, Doucouré would certainly be a great signing for Toulouse, for whom a loan with a potential option to buy would be an ideal situation, with the player ticking ‘all their boxes’.

Despite this interest, it remains to be seen if Marco Silva will want the former France U21 midfielder to leave Vicarage Road this summer after he managed to make his way into Walter Mazzarri’s side towards the back end of last season.

This seems unlikely, also because of the wages Doucouré is likely to be on and Toulouse’s rather limited finances, but, if Watford don’t want him and are happy to pay a chunk of the salary, it’s certainly a possibility.'

Behrami was expected to leave but it seems he will be given a squad number.

Mind you we have seen players being given a number but have left soon after!
