    The season starts before the Olympics ends, so that there could be a load of players missing from the PL for the start of the season - wonder how much that might influence any transfers?     Reminds me of the old Merseyside 60s jokes.

    On a church noticeboard was the question: "What would you do if Jesus returned?". Underneath was scrawled: "Move St John to inside left".

    And "Jesus saves" .....but "St John knocks in the rebound".
