There is no way that Watford can afford €10 million nor that Gino Pozzo would pay so much for a 29 year old player. It would also be a waste of resources when there are other positions which also need to be addressed. Interestingly, he has the same agent as Étienne Capoue. He was linked with Reims (Ligue 1 in France) at the beginning of January and Red Star Belgrade's valuation was then reported to be €6 million.

Either it’s the wrong price or they mean Wolves /West Ham ?

The report refers to "The Championship club" so there is no confusion with Wolves or West Ham. The wrong price seems probable if there is any truth in this report. The valuation placed by Red Star Belgrade to sell Cherif Ndiaye to Reims (at the beginning of January) was reported to be €6 million by a different website.

They signed him from a Turkish club in 2023 for only €4 million - has done quite well in Champions League, and has a couple of international caps.
To be honest, I think he'd be mad to come here. Yes he'd probably play more regularly, but he's probably too good for us.

Unless it some Pozzo money 'spinning' deal that might mean he comes to us for a half a season and then is off
