If he goes, he goes. I don't mind where he goes, he will play better and improve in a top team. I will be happy for him. I have a nagging thought that he may still sign an extension but I'm not sure that would be best for him.

I am not sure that Bilic will be happy about signing this young winger because I suspect that he wants a more established player, but he has got to understand Watford's financial position. It appears that Manchester Utd. are unwilling to loan Facunda Pellistri to Watford. What has happened to the "rule of 11" ? Was that used by the club as propaganda to persuade Watford supporters to accept the sales of Zinckernagel and Cucho?
Probably- but then Scott Duxbury made loads of comments in the summer that turned out to be unreliable and false ( maybe not his fault as such ) Bilic probably wanted more experience players but the club maybe are looking longer term and see him as just a short term manager as we do with all of them !
Looks like one of those home grown fill a spot we know of him type of signing. Maybe for next season particularly as doubt any of our first team strikers will be here then! Either end of their loan or sold .
I've been reminded that we also have Fletcher still on the books. So that's 2 ex Middlesbrough forwards we now have! Both homegrown. I liked the young Assombalonga, unfortunately he was 5th in line when he left but now, at 30, will he be any better than recalling Fletcher so we have a 3rd choice homegrown back-up striker?
I think he is a bit more proven so hopefully. Fletcher is on a 5 year contract- whose ideas was that !!? Probably means Bayo will go out on loan
Hopefully the 2 defenders we have brought will be enough cover or come into the team and do well. Now need a midfielder I think .
Bayo gone back to Belgium. Not his fault and he scored a few key goals but will very much be seen as a waste of 5 million pounds. Looks like Manaj will be off too.
