It's been a long time since we signed a player from a Scottish club - I think the last one was Craig Forsyth in 2011. It's even longer since we signed a successful one too - arguably either Stephen McGinn in 2010 or Don Cowie in 2009. I hope this one ends that run.

No I didn't but without him its 6 I think. Kamara Davis Choudhury Martins Araujo Potentially Hoedt (who has played for some decent European sides so might not be that bad..) I think people don't like the Belgium connection as it suggests Bayat has been involved.
I guess Kamara has an out - he could go to Udinese. Of those five current ones you mention, he is probably fifth in the pecking order.

I think Slav has made a bit of a boo-boo saying that - if Porteous hasn't signed yet he may well decide not to if he reads that. Hibs have already had one agreed transfer cancelled - Nisbet to Millwall - after accepting a £2.1 million bid only for the player to change his mind. The Porteous transfer was supposedly dependent upon another Hibs defender's injury not being serious - have just read that he's out for three months, so who knows what will happen.

Guess managers always want more . Club probably don’t want to risk too much money on squad fillers . Bilic probably won’t be here in 6 months . He wasn’t that set on Ferreira but probably glad we had him last week !
