Do you remember what happened the last time a transferred player travelled to England on a small privately hired plane, they found his body weeks later, the pilot is still missing
I'll wager that he didn't fly direct from his home in Barcelona - he would have had to travel the 10 miles or so to the airport, so it's reasonable to expect that he'd know he would have to travel from whichever airport he landed at to Watford.
Dwight Gayle linked again bit it is the Mail so not sure now true that is . But another source says it’s us or Boro.
Wanted in Italy .. Not by Udinese though. Monza (more known for F1) https://mobile.twitter.com/WD18Fans/status/1545023566382497792
There are a few assumptions to that story which may or may not have any basis in fact: The club are willing to sell him, That he actually wants to leave, That Monza could afford the transfer fee - there have been no discussions, That Monza could match his current salary - not particularly high, but higher than it was at Udinese. Agent talk as far as I'm concerned, but you never know in football. I'd be sad to see him go - he wasn't perfect last season, but was an improvement on what we had at the time.
No idea where this has come from, or if there is any truth in it. Watford have told William Troost-Ekong, that he is allowed to leave if a suitable offer comes by. Ekong is not in Rob Edwards plans for the new season.
He was at the training camp looking happy enough ! Must be after some defenders if 2 potentially leave ..
Good news or bad Everton are not lining up a move for Watford and Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis, despite being linked to the 24-year-old. (Football Insider)
In Dennis' case, maybe, maybe not - maybe there's just a lack of interest? Whilst there are plenty of rumours about the size of the fee the club wants, no-one has tested their resolve by putting a bid of any size in. I think most transfer negotiations start with a below-valuation bid - it's certainly seems to be how the Pozzos operate.
I am sure in a few days' time the story will change and he will be linked with someone else. It's how Journalists justify their salaries after all and means absolutely nothing whilst the transfer window remains open.
The market is very subdued. In our case not helped by false financial situation stories being hawked around. If they go it will be late in the window now. Udinese will always be an option for at least one of them and bear in mind Delefeou is likely to leave (or has he already gone?) so there will be a space for a similar style player.
