LOL! According to "Sport Bild", Watford are interested in signing Hamburger SV midfielder Valon Behrami. "The newly promoted Premier League side are reportedly already in talks to sign the former West Ham player. The 30-year-old Switzerland international made 23 games last season".
I love the English way of being pessimistic. As examples Etienne Capoue was a Spurs flop Paulinho and Benjamin Stambouli as well. Saphir Taider is Southampton reject. Micah Richards was a flop at Manchester City and Joel Campbell is an Arsenal failure. There are many reasons for footballers not to succeed with certain clubs and the expection is too great in the Premier league. When a footballer is reaching the level playing in World Cup final tournement or moving to teams at top of their leagues they are not failures or flops. Saphir Taider was removed from Southampton for a problem in the team so his football ability was not seen.
Double Swiss in midfield? Think he did ok at West Ham... BTW Have we actually signed that Holebas bloke now?
So another possible transfer target turns us down because he wants to see if there is a better offer. I just hope there isn't and we do not renew our interest in any of these players who want to play in the Premiership, but with a bigger better club. I'm sure if the bigger better clubs were interested they would have made a move.
According to the font of all knowledge, Wikipedia, José Lloyd Holebas (or Iosef Cholebas) is a Watford player and has the squad number 3.
A tweet from "Spurs Insider", who states that he/she is a former journalist says that Stambouli has now agreed terms with WFC and that should we be relegated at the end of next season, Spurs can buy him back for £2M less that he cost us.

Nah, he's not good enough compared with what's coming in. I think Dyer will go too on the same principle. However that is two more home growns. I'm sure Scott and Gino have crunched the numbers in this regard.
