A bid for Sarr rejected. Was happy with the headline, but reading the article makes me not so happy as the headline is misleading. https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co...nchester-united-bid-rejected-watfords-4577567
I presume we either get him back if promoted or sell if we don't. Saw they aren't likely to get anyone today so might be back in for him.
I wasn't happy because the club were willing to sell him but refused because they're unwilling to let him go out on a loan. Unrealistic to hope that he'd stay I suppose, but if we really want promotion we need to hang on to players like him.
Can you imagine the discord in the dressing room, if certain players disappear for a year whilst others get us promoted, only for said players to return when we are back in the Premier League?
Another striker in the offing. Juan Diego Molina Martínez of Real Mallorca - aka Stoichkov. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/10/...-2-5m-16-goal-forward-hes-desperate-for-move/
True - but so was the 'original' Mario Balotelli and I'm not sure about this rumour. https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co...fer-news/watford-linked-shock-move-ex-4577808
I wonder how much we still have in terms of expense in wages given Capoue , Gray and Deeney haven't gone so far .. They aren't exactly on peanuts. I presume Udinese are paying GD wages ?
Presumably they are paying Pussetto's too. The bulk of the players we need to offload still have a couple of weeks to go - I can't see any EPL clubs wanting them so it's a sideways or downwards move for them - not too sure I'd like Deeney to go to a Championship rival though. Haven't seen any rumours about Welbeck, Sinclair, Success or Penaranda yet - surely someone must want them?
I thought the transfer window was shutting today, but, guess not: "Deals with Premier League clubs do not have to be completed today - domestic transfer window runs until October 16" CAN'T IT JUST SHUT ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The argument was that they wanted him to be in their European squad, which has to be announced tomorrow.
If Capoue doesn't leave to another UK club, then I hope he fights for his place and is motivated. With TDB out for 6 months, we really could do with Capoue staying.
The only silver lining to the TDB injury is that it’s before the window has fully closed, which means they can keep someone/buy someone in to cover him.
Any thoughts on this guy - a left back from Chelsea. https://www.goal.com/en/news/watfor...an-season-long-loan/cliqohd4i0b71q7sjd5olrdwx
