Well that is the danger with loan players.

    They can be called back.

We have had it done to ourselves before .

They probably want him back before the country gets closed down.

Haven't seen that one - the most frequent 'gossip' appears to have him moving to Liverpool for somewhere between £40 & £50million.

At those figures, he may well still be with us next season.

I agree - there are higher paid players and less valuable we could do with selling first.

Not the most attacking team either.

Look at how Zaha gets frustrated.

A poster going by that name who likes to be the "joker" of the forum.

    It's not a real manager named as Moog I don't think !

Watford's 37-year-old former England keeper Ben Foster has become a summer transfer target for both Chelsea and Everton. Sun on Sunday

I would not trust anything that is written in the Sun. Ben Foster has just signed a new two year contract and wants to play regularly. Watford would be left with only one first team goalkeeper (Daniel Bachmann) if he left. The club would not receive a big fee and would need to search for a new goalkeeper.

I doubt that Foster would want to be an understudy, at his age, to Jordan Pickford at Everton and it seems unlikely that Ancelotti would want a 37 year old goalkeeper as first choice if Pickford is sold. Would Foster want to move up north at this stage in his career?

Chelsea might seem a more attractive option if Kepa Arrizabalaga leaves, but signing a 37 year old as a first choice goalkeeper appears to contradict Lampard's policy of building a young team and I have already suggested that it is unlikely that Foster want to be an understudy. Jan Oblak (Atlético Madrid) is probably too expensive for Chelsea, but he is only 27 years old. Andre Onana (who is a 24 year old Ajax goalkeeper) has also been linked to Chelsea.

Foster would be paid more money, but would either club offer him more than a one year contract? The story in the Sun does not make much sense to me.

Seems like the same sort of move they made for Rob Green - ageing goalie with some quality looking for one last pay day acting as a home grown player.

I love the fact he acts like he played a key role in their Europa league success last season!

As for Everton - they'll probably spend another 50 million on someone who turns out to be rubbish.

I expect they will be looking for another new manager come Xmas.

Maybe they should go for Nick Pope or Dean Henderson if Man U don't want him?

I doubt it will happen though - Foster seemed pretty keen to stay and commit his future.
