Well he has signed a five year contract - you would think that means something, even in this day and age.
I'd say that was seed planted in his mind by the new agent. Surely the club could just put his mind at rest?
It now seems that he had also signed two other pre-contracts - one with a Spanish club and one with an Italian club, both before 1st January. He's sounding like the sort of brain-dead player we don't really need.

He might be good, but would he be if he doesn't really wish to be with us? I think that with the problems some clubs are going to face, earnings might take a sudden dip for new signings. He might find that he has been offered a good deal.
Apparently been paid a good signing on fee at the time. Definitely new agent stirring it. But I have heard the player described as mature so especially with the emergency as it is and as it unfolds over the next few months he might well find he has the best deal. Only issue I see is that outgoing transfer fees are likely to be subdued and we may well have been hoping to cash in on Doucoure which is unlikely to happen now.
