it got posted on X and at that point it’s fair game. The family of the other party sold their side of the story though it would seem
Roger that, as it's a summary charge the police don't have to involve the CPS. There's also the fact 'I don't want to press charges' often carries little weight with the police. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
At this point I’d look at other options. We don’t know when he will be match-fit. I’d be looking at Kyprianou on a free transfer.
Sounds like we need to replace Alzate, so I'd get Kyprianou for that. Maybe a loan on top or Simons for cover and do the Zambrano deal with January in mind.
Who’s paid his wage while he’s been suspended ? I’m assuming us, so why would we do that and not buy him
We had a deal in place that if he was suspended, our contribution to his wages would go way down and LDU would pick up the majority of the tab. Think of it like insurance.
Absolutely spot on, the CPS sanction the charges after the evidence is presented to them, they often go for the lesser offence to encourage a guilty plea or a safe conviction. Without a formal complaint from the victim its unusual to charge with low level assaults.
Thought i read about £3.5 million, not certain but figure comes to mind but i think that is worth it.
Has there been any word on when we need to finalise the retained list? Some clubs already have done. I know usually there's a date something like a week or two after the season ends by which it has to be done.
He’s a great bit of business be insane to stick by him and then bin him off after he’s finally given some clarity and we’ve spent all this time clearly investing in a player we probably wouldn’t have managed to get without the suspension
Its indicative of short term thinking not getting it done. Pay 3.5 now and in a year collect 10 or more,,,
