See, I thought that about Rosenior in terms of the team quality. I thought the tactics were so safe that we had to rely on individual brilliance in attack far too often in order to score. We had so many low scoring games with a forward line that had other clubs envious.

I agree about McCann. Could have been interesting with some backing.

I think it's far too easy to **** on Walter with the hand we dealt him. He didn't do himself any favours, but we saw a couple of times how things could work when it rarely clicked. He very narrowly missed out on promotion in Germany - came a lot closer than we have done in years.

I can see the same cycle happening with Jakirovic here though. The club has essentially shot him in the foot. Watch this space.

The hope I hold on to with Hughes is that I genuinely think Acun expects a 20m sale next summer, so unless someone gets close this window he stays.

We’ll still hopefully tell them to **** off.

Hughes can do far better than Coventry.

Emmanuel Dennis is also apparently leaving Forest by mutual consent.

If furlong leaves am I right in thinking it doesn’t actually make much of a difference, we’d have a space but as his wage would be low then we probably can’t bring a decent player in.

*prob same for Harry best etc

If him and Vaughan go we might be able to bring in the guy from Newcastle maybe.

Coventry’s bid today according to James Hoggarth was £8m. Well short.

By the looks of it we're trying to restructure Laalaoui's deal to a loan, so Furlong and Vaughan off the wage bill may allow that to happen.

All a bit of a mess this wage cap lark.

I hope we don't lose Hughes, I was a little surprised just how noticable his absence was against Blackburn, huge miss.
