Even though he won't be on much, he feels like the last deadwood player currently around the club. Everyone else is involved in match day squads and part of the plans, or is out on loan. I wonder if him going out allows a cheap loan in wage wise, maybe Murphy from Newcastle as Toast suggested?
Sell your best players, bring in the money, help to insure there is no third window ban but get relegated… cash rich but league poor… we have to cut our cloth accordingly and get through to next summer still in this league. Then with the money from the sale of players replace them with as good if not better…. **** easy this champ manager ****
Pandur is in serious danger of been a back up somewhere, if he goes up a league. Get him on a new contract.
If we do end up selling Pandur, are we able to recall TLT from his loan? Couple of Donny fans I've spoken to really rate him.
He’ll also be on Premier League wages now. Given how **** he was against Wednesday. It would be a no from me.
The rules around recalling and loaning keepers are different for outfield players. But I think we would look to sign a more established #1 if it happened throughout the window anyway.
If we end up selling Pandur and having Phillips in goal we’re resigning ourselves to a ****e struggle of a season
Is there anything in this Pandur talk? If we can get a decent PL backup keeper on a free loan, then I’d let him go.
Paper talk with no solid foundation(gossip) from what I can make out... But he might be leaving for £5 million
I wouldn't class Vaughan as deadwood, he played all season for the U21s last season and has done this. He's the one who needs a loan the most this season though.
