An exciting talent, Reda Laalaoui joined Hull City from hometown club Fath Union Sport for an undisclosed fee in June 2025, penning a four-year deal.

A tall and athletic box-to-box midfielder who can also operate further forward, the Rabat-born Laalaoui progressed through Fath Union Sport’s youth system before making his first team debut in April 2023 as a late substitute against Renaissance de Berkane.

Playing 164 minutes in his breakout campaign, the midfielder played 22 times in the 2023/24 season. Scoring his first professional goal in February 2024, a 95th minute winner against Wydad Casablanca, he featured 25 times the following campaign, taking his total tally of 54 appearances for FUS Rabat, scoring five goals and recording three assists.

Internationally, Laalaoui has represented Morrocco at Under-20s level, earning his first cap five days after his 18th birthday in a 3-0 win over Burkina Faso in May 2023. Scoring his first international goal in just his fourth cap against South Korea Under-18s, the midfielder played all but one of the games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations as Morocco finished runners-up.

I can't see his salary or sell on fee either.

    It's a bio, not a contract.

Nope, I've just seen enough 1904 pods to know it's subject to relevant clearances. And that the EFL won't ratify the deal.

Isnt it self evident? Otherwise he'd be our player.

You really expect every detail to be explicitly laid out in a bio, or club announcement?

And it's been alluded to via the local press enough times via the pod.

And why would you think Reda is any different to the Puerta situation and he's clearly back in Germany.

    Kinnel, I hope not.

There's several on here who will be hell bent on returning them to their country of origin forthwith and never allow them the opportunity to grace a football field.

They might abuse wimmin or girls or summet.

It had been said by Baz on the 1904 club, even before the embargo hit. And alluded to in discussions over both their futures on the same pod a number of times since.

And he's clearly not yet our player otherwise he, as would Puerta, would have been involved in friendlies.

We haven't as yet been able to complete the transfer. But why would we own him and not Puerta?

We do currently own Puerta. Unless Leverkusen have bought him back off us.

James Furlong looks like he might be heading back to Ireland permanently before the deadline is over, if my friend at the club is to be believed. Cork City want him (Meyler there as assistant coach) along with Shamrock Rovers.

Also looking at a loan for Alex Murphy if we can get clearance from the EFL (guess the one in one out isn’t set in stone and just requires a lot of arse kissing and pleading, cause I’m not sure who else we could afford to let go without landing ourselves in a ****uation).

Would like another keeper but Sergei said they can manage with two and a youth keeper.

Hughes not looking likely to leave unless a stupid offer come in. Which, given this transfer window so far has seen ridiculous money spent, I wouldn’t completely rule out on deadline day. But he’s not pushing for a move at all. Nothing like the Greaves situation.

Vaughan not leaving until they know Millar is going to be back after the international break and Belloumi is in the clear. Might have to wait until deadline day to move.

Scunthorpe still want TSF, no reason that wouldn’t happen. York and Boston also interested.

Interest in Pharrell Brown from National League (Scarborough and Gateshead mentioned) but again, not until they know Belloumi and Millar will be back.

Lots of demand for U21 lads after a decent season last year and a good start to this one. Harry Revill been requested by both Ferriby and Beverley Town.

There's no way we can go back and restructure the Puerta one not to include a fee. We are still trying to find an acceptable solution with Reda.

ok orange last one, if we "signed lalloui" in june according to the website but didnt becuse of the july embargo. Why are we nearly in september with no resolution. I get they were waiting for the appeal but surley someone at the club thought "this aint looking good" lets set up plan B and get an alternative deal ready. This situation makes no sense for any party
