Us taking the deal off the table shows that the club has a bit of dignity despite the restrictions and won’t beg big time Charlies and mercenaries to sign for us. There’s a striker contracted to another club who wants to come here more than McBurnie and has admitted he’d already be playing for us if we didn’t have a fee restriction.
Whats the point of giving him a deadline if we arent willing to move on? As Kalman just said, we've been chasing him for 2 months, if he really wanted to sign for us he would have done it by now. Move on!

The biggest problem for us is what’s the alternative because it will make a massive difference to the season. I would have thought at the most at this hearing if we are successful it will get reduced but in this transfer window I’m sure we won’t be able to buy players like Frigan. I don’t know what’s the free alternatives are and been honest I’ve never seen Frigan play and Mcburnie as been out of the country. Who else is out there on a free because you certainly can’t be held to ransom by anyone. See what today brings.

Fully agree. McBurnie is the best available for what we need. But we cant waste all summer on him only for him to turn us down and we're left scrambling around in the final few days. I think if it gets reduced to 1 or 2 transfer windows instead of the current 3, it gives us an option to sign a player on loan for the season with an option/obligation to buy next summer.
mcburnies a no go pretty much i wonder if depending on the result of the hearing in a few days, if frigan is still a possibility this summer, i hope so you just cant beat a player with power and pace in this league, its why delap was a cheat code
Would piss myself laughing if we withdraw the offer for McBurnie, sign someone else and one by one, all the other interested teams sign other strikers and McBurnie’s left with egg on his face.
