The story is credited to @Santi_J_FM, which wouldn't be a bad source, only I've just looked as his feed and there seems to be no mention of this.
To be fair if you’re left with a rackful of vowels at the end of a game of Scrabble he’d be a good finish.* * Apart from the fact that proper nouns aren’t allowed of course.
That's a acun signing! Thinking he is plucking gold out of the dog **** leagues around the world! Poor new manager never stood a chance!
Would you have him on a free and wages or GELDHART at £5 million and what he wants for wages... where we are now I know which id choose...
The Dutch and Portuguese leagues aren’t comparable to the Moroccan one. We payed millions for Pandur and Belloumi. This kid will cost six figures at most and will probably go straight into the under-21s.
Just played in the u20 AFCON final I think it’s good we are doing this. North Africans typically don’t struggle with the physicality of the top European leagues despite sometimes not being “built” for it
If we somehow manage to end up with Emreli, Laalaoui and Kilicsoy, that looks like a very good start. With the returning wingers, that would realistically only leave us needing to find a left back (although may need others depending on outgoings)
So we've brought in 64 players and of those we've moved 40 on. Am I right in saying that out of those 40 (and I know some were loans) we've only made a profit on Philogene. That a pretty amazing way to run a club at out level.
Didn't he come from the portugese league? A league regarded as a higher standard than the championship. I dont think that is a good example.
He did play a season in Portugal, the Portuguese club having brought him in from Algeria, you think we should only sign players another club has discovered first? People often talk about what might have been, had we signed Mo Salah for £2m under Bruce, he was at Al-Mokawaloon at the time.
No, I don't. We should find talent ourselves. Are you suggesting he is the next mo salah now? We are all so desperate to be proven wrong about acun, or ignore the evidence in front of us (that he is way too involved in player procurement)...that we all choose to ignore it. Or are now trying to find ways in which this player is going to awesome. I edge my bets to him being another flop. I hope I am wrong.
I have absolutely no idea if he's the next Mo Salah or not, but if we sign him, I'm happy to wait to find out, rather than writing him off before he's kicked a ball for us.
