Tidy enough player but doesn't influence the game enough. He won't be that much of a miss.

I also like Alzate and was excited to see a midfield three of Zambrano as the deepest midfielder and Puerta and Alzate as number 8s with Puerta being box-to-box and Alzate having more freedom to be creative. With Zambrano not back until November at the earliest and we still haven’t signed him, it’s possible we might not have any of them for next season, which is a bit of a shame. It means building the midfield from scratch again.

Mehlem, Zambrano, Puerta, Palmer and Alzate were all signed this season and it’s likely none of them will be Hull City players next season. Simons and Ömür will probably leave too. The only first-team midfielders likely to stay are Slater and Crooks. We’re just not a well-run football club. We’re owned by an incompetent lunatic.

If not Kyprianou, I’d like us to go for someone like Erhahon at Lincoln. A number 6 who has a mix of ball-winning and technical abilities, has a decent amount of games under his belt in England and wouldn’t break the bank.

Possibly, likely, probably, all that's missing is in my opinion.

If we can get 5 for Puerta and 2.5/3 for Alzate then there are no excuses for us relying on crap strikers anymore

Hang on, what? You quoted my post saying:

“Possibly, likely, probably, all that's missing is in my opinion.”

So I clearly did say ‘possible’, ‘likely’ and ‘probably’ in my post. Your post makes zero sense.

Well, it's early days but right now it sounds like another summer of over the top churn. If that's the case we're in for another difficult season regardless of who's in charge.

I've done my share lad. I choose to retire after close to 50 years of work.
I was never a shirker like you, spending half your day (and night) on here, calling people ****s, being an obnoxious repetitive boring over-reactionay twat, when you should be working, not short changing our kids. You should take a long hard look in the mirror, be honest with yourself, get your life sorted because atm you are an embarrassment to your profession and a disgrace.

I don't see why. Some people pay thousands for life coaching and counselling. I'm giving it for free. :emoticon-0105-wink:

You worked for nearly 50 years but consider yourself early retired? Blimey when did you start work, at 5?

Back in old days people started early Christ I was stealing coal from the coal yard aged 8 and left home and school at 15 and started work, kids today can’t ever understand or get through life like we did back then they are wet saps most of them.

Eh? What's the retirement age over there? Over here it's 55.

EDIT: Geeze, looks like that's shot up lately, 67 now. Fair enough. Even then, if you worked for nearly 50 years and retired early that still means starting work at about 13-14! I wouldn't count doing a paper run as work anymore than me doing a pamphlet drop at 16 but fair enough. <laugh>

Just because we stayed in school and went to uni doesn't mean we didn't work hard to get where we are either.
