Two seasons playing every week for a team like Palace. Then get the big move. It would make a lot of sense to me. If he goes direct to a big boy, I could see him spending a lot of time on the bench. Or maybe even shipped out of loan for a season.
Palace seems like a great option for Dibling. The question has always been about price. The teams that can afford what we likely will ask, he won’t play much. The teams where he will play probably wouldn’t pay what we want. Question is how much we are after. There is no denying that he has been **** for the last few months, but he is 18 so maybe just a bit of inconsistency, maybe he can’t be bothered as he knows he is off, maybe he is sulking because Martin has left, maybe Juric tactics completely nullify him. Has this drop in form affected his price? He has 2 years left after this season doesn’t he? That will hugely impact his asking price. If we are asking for £40m+ for him I doubt a move to a club where he would play regularly right now is on the cards.
Im not keeping up with general football transfer rumours, but if Palace are selling Eze or someone else for big money, then they’ll have the budget. Many mid size clubs have made the mistake of selling a big player and then trying to spread that money out across 3/4 or more players instead of going big as they can with a direct replacement
They've already had a few big bids in for Guehi so could that happening this summer. From a Saints perspective we would be better off selling to somehow like Palace and sticking in a 10% sell on.
No chance he goes to Palace. We want £50-60m for him, and their current record signing is £30m. They are not going to double their record transfer fee for a raw teenager with just half a dozen good performances under his belt. Signing him could be the death of their Premier League status. They won't gamble on that.

For £40m, there will be a dozen clubs willing to pay the price. So a potential bidding war could push it up. Even at £40m, would shock me if Palace pay that.
He is a rare talent. He just needs good coaching and discipline. There is a very top player there. When you look what £40m buys you, he has the "potential" to be a very valuable player. Failing that a £100 m flop like Grealish
Yeah but he’s leaving to follow the money. He could stay next year and play every week for money most of us can only dream of.
Come on. He'll be set for life financially just from the signing on fee, let alone the massive salary increase, AND he'll be at a Premier League club. It's a no-brainer.
Palace would be a really good move for him. He's not ready to play regularly at a big club imo. I think £40m will be about the maximum we get.
Not Palace, Brighton, Bournemouth, Everton etc. I am ok with a club like Villa if we have to sell. It wouldn't shock me if Arsenal come calling. As for Ramsdale how about Man U if they have the cash? Onanha is a shocking goal keeper for a "top" premier league team
Why not any of those clubs though? I don't really care where he goes tbh but I think they'd be good moves for him.
