    Fair point.

    At £80k p/w or whatever he'd still be the best paid player in Championship history mind. And a significant pay cut just adds to the reasons he might want to leave tbh (and makes a loan less likely)

    He's clearly the best keeper we could have both this season or if we went back up IMO. But realistically I see the chances of him being here on 1 Sept as negligible.

    Jordan Henderson to Brentford is a good signing for them. Imagine he’s got an eye on the World Cup squad as well

    More on that rumour.
    "Motherwell's Lennon Miller may join Celtic star Nicolas Kuhn in Italy.

    The player is valued at £4.5 million, and Como are keen to secure him before other European clubs show interest.

    Italian club Udinese had a bid rejected earlier this year.

    Ipswich Town and Southampton are also interested in the midfielder.

    If the deal goes through, he will join Kuhn in playing for Cesc Fabregas' Serie A side."

    It seems like both players we’ve signed didn’t have obvious other links with other clubs. Unless i misremember

    even once it started to become apparent we wanted them. Does anyone else recall?

    makes me skeptical about all these rumours of us competing with other clubs for players. Seems like these are often just pure speculation or our name being added to an existing rumour where the others clubs in it are of similar profile

    But sounds like better options out there for him.

    I'm struggling to understand this move for Walker-Peters. He's only just turned 28, he's a starting quality RB for the bottom 8 teams in the PL, not to mention others in Europe. His last big contract as well? I mean, fair play to him for taking a step outside the comfort zone, but it seems odd for a player who could play another 3-4 seasons in the PL!

    Not heard much about any PL sides actually trying to sign him. Clearly wasn't much interest when we went down either or he'd likely have gone.
