Matsuki meant to be highly rated. One to keep an eye on at Goztepe.
Taken 18 months or so, but finally starting to see the network function (public facing) how you would expect it to and how it has done for Brighton etc. Coincides with Rasmus withdrawing from Saints and spending more of his time working in Izmir with Göztepe. Matsuki seems interesting, one to monitor

With Diaz in BBD in that list it looks pretty good. Definitely need more going forwards but we know the club are working on it.
Wonder if Fabio Carvalho will move? Liverpool seem to have plenty of options in those positions now everyone is fit. He'd be very high up on my list of potential loan signings (at least).
100% agree with this, he looks a great fit for our style based on him at Hull late last season
If you count Downes and THB as being here last year I would say currently we are no stronger except depth at centre back. It's why we need 2-3 starters now.
Hmmm, good point. Our left side may have improved. Taylor is likely an upgrade at LB and if BBD played wide left he's better than our options there last season. But of course that would mean we have no striker, so overall that's a fair comment. Another sobering thought is we conceded 63 goals in the Championship last season and haven't really upgraded at the back.
It's been an odd summer. The signings all seem to be sensible but there's been nothing hugely exciting and I'm not particularly optimistic about this season. I guess there's still time for that to change.
