Now seems to be a hell of a lot of momentum for Dejan Ljubicic from FC Koln. They turned down a bod in July from Leeds and even though the player was going into the last year of his contract they were convinced he would sign again. The Koln President and head coach both said he was their best player and needed him. Leeds are now getting reports that the player has refused a new deal and has had his head turned by Leeds. Apparently according to numerous German Sports media outlets Leeds have doubled the bid to £6.5m and Koln are finding it difficult to refuse. Different outlets are quoting between £5.5m and £8m. Aust4ain International and team mate of Wober?

Would be a decent signing imo.

Seems like the Palace lad is going to Sheffield U. I’d imagine he either doesn’t fancy trying to dislodge Gnonto or James or we only enquired in case we moved Willie on, or something is set to happen with Rowe

I find the Rowe stuff odd. Why would a winger who wants to start sign for us when we have Gnoto and James? Something will have to give. Either Gnoto leaving or not happening imo.

Gnonto was 3rd choice winger last season and got reasonable time on the pitch to contribute good numbers. Chance to join the league favs and probably end up in the Prem in 12 months time.

We also have Aaronson now who can play across the front three.

I have seen lots of suggestions on social media that we’ll line up 5-3-2 with the wing backs pressing forward, the suggestion was Gruev, Ampadu and Rothwell in the middle, any two from Rutter, Piroe, Joseph in attack.

In my opinion, not a chance we’ll have Aaronson, James and Gnonto sitting on the bench and the only way they’ll get on is a complete reshuffle.

We nearly did it last season, we don’t need a major change, just a strong tweak

We cannot set up like last season or FARKE will be out of a job before Xmas. All teams did was press us high and then park the bus. We didn’t know how to get through the bus and never took shots from outside the box much or crossed so a No9 was pointless. We wasted hours tippy tapping on the edge of the box and then going backwards. The better teams came to play and we beat them all but how many banana skins did we find

This is my understanding of the Rowe situation, we've upped our offer to £7m, from 6, but with more add ons. Rowe wants to come, Norwich are reluctant to sell to us, they would be strengthening an opponent [understandable] and are making noises so that a PL club will come in for him, Southampton, Forest, Brentford for eg. I've a feeling it's another that won't happen.

Ram-Sayaki going to Sheffield over Leeds.

The Blades have agreed to pay a seven-figure loan fee, as well as the entirety of his salary in order to get the deal done. They have also agreed to a clause enabling Crystal Palace the option to recall him in January.

I wouldn’t be interested in any loan where a player would have a recall clause in January. We’ll need to be strengthening in that window and not losing more players

Me neither, if he’s a stand out player he’d be recalled for sure, if they didn’t want him back then you’d assume he was having an average time at best.

Could even be recall and send him off to the highest bidder

We tried it with fast Eddie and between time settling in then a groin injury and then returning to Arsenal in January we got very poor value for money

No clue, just checked their transfers for last season, and whilst they received 42m Euro in transfers they spent 37m, so just have to presume they are a well run club and keep a good eye on their finances
