A few little stories about having to sell even more players to stay the right side of FFP. Rumours of players having release clauses thar don't reflect their true value. Probably nothing and that's why I put it on the rumours thread.
Not sure where we are as in the FFP but I don't think we will be splashing any big cash. That Sara lad from Norwich is pretty laughable. absolutely no chance we are throwing £15-£20M at one player. Hearing Farke wants 3 players Attacker,Midfielder,Fullback one of them will be a loan and the other two will be at low millions. Speculation is always rife with Leeds and some fans on Facebook,Twiiter are pretty thick saying Summerville has to be replaced by someone better. smell the bacon we are in the Championship you simply can't buy better, 1, we can't afford it. 2. they won't want to play in the championship. unless you unearth a wonderkid or someone off the radar from timbucktoo who just hits the ground running. As on others leaving I'd be pretty disappointed now if anyone else goes who was in that squad yesterday. The Premier League loans will sort themselves out after the 1st Prem game When Clubs then see who's not in the picture in the opening day squads.
We won’t but a better individual than Summerville but we could buy someone who improves the entire team. The lad on loan from Palace would be a handy addition
It was from the Farke interview when asked about the Summerville transfer. Basically he said that the club has limited resources to replace him to stay within PSR rules as we are still hampered by mistakes made in the past.
So we’ve gone from being close on psr a month ago to selling about 80m quids worth of players and still close to breaking psr. Not good for fans but nice touch for owners
The Gray fee was to cover last seasons losses to avoid points deductions for this season. I'm presuming that the other sales, including Cree, will be to cover the coming seasons losses. No doubt that we are the biggest club in the division regarding turnover but at the same time we pay more wages than anyone else. The likes of Bamford, Firpo, Aaronson, Wober, Meslier will still be on huge wages for this division even if the wages were impacted by relegation clauses. The flip side is that you do what Leicester, Southampton, Villa, Bournemouth and prolly a few other clubs have done and just **** psr off completely and buy the division.
Some Wolves bod, their equivalent of when we had Hay, saying we are closing in on a loan deal for Hugo Bueno, absolutely no idea who he is,think he's a LB. Bobby Clark from Liverpool also gathering momentum.
Salzburg had a €6million bid turned down for Bobby Clark. I wouldn't spend money on Liverpool youth players that they sell on for profit. They usually turn out to be duds.
Genuine interest and an official approach for a loan. Wolves want him to have playing time which he can’t get this season
So he can't get in an average Wolves side but has illusions of playing CL football and let's be honest it will only be for 6 games.
