Our approach to development of young talent is baffling.
Total failure on the club's part.
It's a real worry.
We always have 'the next great thing', but from 17 to 21 they fall flat.
The lack of a footballing philosophy, top to bottom, is a glaring omission and has cost us progress for many years, not to mention the £millions wasted.

He needs game time and is more likely to get it elsewhere.

To me he has stalled in the last 2 years. He has undoubted skill but seems to lack pace and his decision making is not good.

He must be about 6ft 3ins now and he has not coped well with his increase in height. If he can get playing every week he can deal positively with his body shape and speed of movement.

The danger is that he is in his last year of contract and should he do well elsewhere we could lose him completely in 2024.

However if he stays and does not play often the same could happen. I can't imagine he is on more than £3k or £4k a week so loaning him out won't make a big difference to the wage bill.

Ironically after a poor first year it looks like Tanner's loan time elsewhere gave him a wake up call and he is ahead of Colwill in selection.

You will not be surprised to know that I totally agree.

Bulut thinks differently.

No interest in loaning him out. He will stay definitely with us. I know he has some offers, but he will stay. Rubin is doing well. How he started in pre-season to where he is right now. He will get his minutes. He will have his cup games and league games and he will give his performances.

He will have to continue to believe in himself.

The last sentence sums it up well.

Those 2 leaving would potentially free up £14.5k per week of wages although we might have to pay a percentage if they went on loan.

Might be enough to enable us to get someone else in.

From Bulut's press conference it looks like Colwill is staying.......for the time being.

Gary Madine anyone...<laugh><laugh><laugh>

<laugh> I see your Gary Madine and raise you a Lois Diony....

We've all had ones like that Supcon, the difference being our our flops have still managed to propel us to the Premier League on a couple of occasions, 2 Cup Finals (and no, not the Johnstones Paint Trophy like some) and helped us avoid the drop to League 1 too... not sure you boys can claim the same eh??

It’s difficult to see how he fits into the team if all the squad players are fit? Off the bench seems to be his best chance to get minutes to impress the gaffer.
I saw him being Rambo's understudy for the 10 shirt.
10-15 mins here and there off the bench with the odd mid-week start when Rambo needs to chill.
