Not a new signing, but not seen it mentioned on here. Apologies if its a repeat.

Indeed, on Friday Ryan Wintle signed a new three-year extension with the club, news which has been gratefully received by City fans. It's encouraging, because in recent years that has been delayed time and time again until it's too late. It's good for fans to see Cardiff on the front foot, being proactive and planning longer term.

Good news. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I think he's done well for us. Might do even better with Rambo on board.

We need a goal-grabber - get Cian Ashford in the squad. He just scored all 4 in the under 21's cup win at Havefordwest.

Big step for him but there's a natural goal scorer there. Not making any direct comparison here, but there's something of the "Aguerro" about his play.

Unless we get a big reveal (no not Masky) before tonight's game it looks like the season's first fail with no current sightings on 2 new signings.

I get Davies not coming (just money grabbing rather than an opportunity to show his abilities at Championship level) but I thought Bulut said a couple of new signings before tonight.

I saw that Ross Barkley has signed for Luton, so we can tick that rumour off the list now too...

Could it be we genuinely were looking at him or Davies and got stiffed by both at the last minute perhaps?? Distinctly possible I'd imagine having seen/heard of other stories of players reneging on deals after the handshakes but before putting pen to paper :emoticon-0112-wonde

When I hear or read that expression, my thoughts go back to Pontcanna Fields and BFB, think Clingon was there too! Never been the same! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

Alnwick starting tonight. If we are risking him then maybe theres a new keeper on the way.

Double bonus if we can get Allsopp off the books.
