Yeah it's about the overall team dynamic. It just seems to have a bunch of dinosaurs in the media parroting the same nonsense over and over.
I like Toney as a player, have said several times I would take him at Arsenal and feel like he'd suit us stylistically. But Brentford have said they won't let him go for a cut-price deal. All reliable outlets and journalists are saying they want in the region of £80m and won't budge on that amount. Assuming that information is true, then I don't think we should be signing him. It's too excessive. I would prefer to look at other targets if Brentford are demanding that level of fee.
