Doesn't look like that Luiz deal is going to get done.

Just to finish this little saga.

Sounds like the lad has failed his medical at Nice and will now return to Marseille for the season. Marseille and Nice are very much rivals on the South Coast and are not too fond of each other.

I'd wish him luck back at Marseille but I wouldn't mean it so **** him.

    @Mr. Strickland

Here is a picture of Joao Pedro in a Newcastle shirt, except it is the kit Watford wore on the first game at the Vic 100 years ago

This is Pedro and Sarr playing in black and white stripes against a team all in red the day before your lot played a team all in red

Leeds managed to get 18 year old Italian international striker Willie Gnonto late in the window. Less than 5 million as he was out of contract next summer.

Good luck for the season buddy.

I think when Wilson got injured we decided to spunk our entire load on Isak as opposed to looking for a couple of players totalling the same sort of amount so Pedro dropped off our radar. I hadn't really noticed him before we were linked but, as is the modern way, watched him a lot suddenly afterwards. Looks full of potential, hope he does well.

Everyone happy with their team’s business then?

Pretty happy with ours, would’ve liked a creative player, whether it be from a central or wide position and possibly just another player for depth but other than that felt like we covered most of our important positions. Got about £30m left over for January too.

    Solid 8/10 for us.

    In:
Darwin. He looks great when he's not mugging old ladies. I judge him a C. Great player with great potential but I don't like how he goes to carnivals to knife people. When we were told he was the "new Suarez" this isn't what I thought they meant.

Fab Car. Looks like he has a good future ahead of him A-, didn't cost much. A good steal.

Arthur "Badger" Melo. He's a warm body smart business. His last name means Badger in Esperanto so that's a massive plus. Plus he is named after one of the Peaky Blinders. Not expecting much, but shouldn't be too bad C+

    Out:
Mane. Should have let Salah go instead. D.

    Overall:
    D
Too much driftwood not sold. Keita, Ox.
Not capitalizing on Salah while we could.
Didn't improve midfield until the last minute and then it's just someone decent, but not someone who will make us better. Will be on bench when everyone is fit.

Not a totally disastrous transfer window, but not an exciting one.

We’re the Jimmy Saville of the premier league hoovering up kids and letting them play in our first team.

All the new signings look good so far but early days, should’ve got another striker imo but can’t complain with the 10 signings in one window

Would’ve liked to have seen a couple more leave, namely Walcott and Redmond but nobody wanted them as they are **** so can’t really do anything about that

Probably give it a 7.5/10 atm but could very easily become a 10 if the new signings continue on like they have and the 4 who signed yesterday are decent
