Then backtracks and says it'll take take a record fee for a defender for Leicester to agree to sell for Fofana

Then they accept a fee £15m short of a record.

 

But as a true fan (not naive in any way), he was following what the club were saying

Ok I've just seen our injuries for the next few games (none of this Liverpool crying off with their 4 choice LB or something, we're talking real first XI players here). I think we need about 5 players in fast, let's get cracking. Start turning that rumour mill to cheer me up.

 

Yeah we're a couple away from getting a chance of mid table obscurity (forward and LB) but it seems the powers that be are willing to gamble, thought they'd have learnt something from last season but alas no.

 

Like many mid-table sides we have a good first 11 but our back-ups (and generally bench) are trash.

 

would give my right nut for mid table obscurity.

 

Which is a better measure of success and bigger achievement than winning trophies as has been pointed out on here
