We need to offload the high earning players out on loan (Hoedt, Lemina, Carillo and even Forster) even if it means taking a big hit on the transfer fee as a priority. If we don't we will be hamstrung by their wages when negotiating transfer fees and contracts when bringing new players and the players we do bring in won't be of the quality we need.
It isn’t be about “accepting a back up role” but about deciding that after a conversation with Ralph that they both think he’s good enough to play. Then it’s down to him to impress when given the chance. The only time a back up role is really considered is maybe a keeper or an older player with a year or so left in them.
Yeah poor choice of words but i don't think he'll play as regularly as he wants and for that reason be sold. It'd be a shame as he's a grafter and can play.
Personally I think Reed is a good Championship player and that's all. Might be able to do a job at someone like Villa but I just don't think he's good enough for us.
RB transfer rumour! Zeefuik. Never heard of him! https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/07/...-southampton-as-director-confirms-saints-bid/
We probably don't want him that badly - just as a back up option should KWP not go through. It might even be our way of getting Spurs to hurry things along with KWP
So that went well. P45 in the post by tomorrow morning. Anyone have any jobs available - with the reference I will receive I think I will consider anything, even pole dancing in a Pompey shirt
Concerning Hoedt... I want to break free from your lies, you're so self satisfied I don't need you.....
Really talented Norwegian. Snapped up by Real Madrid when he was around 17. Had a good season on loan in Spain somewhere. Play attacking mid i think.
Was an overhyped 16 year old, bought by Madrid a few years back. Has been on loan to a few other clubs in La Liga and is 'finally' coming good (he's still only 21). Think he's had a good season this year.
