Just Vokins isn’t it if Bertrand needs to be rested/injured?

 

Would be pretty stupid get a back up LB considering we already have 2 - would rather the money go on wages for RLC or someone in a position we actually need cover.

 

Even though he only ever seems to play LB for Utd, their fans regularly seem to say that he's actually a RB. (But comfortable enough to play LB too.)

A back-up FB is hardly a priority for us. But I would be worried if we lost KWP to injury. So getting cover for him (whilst also providing further cover from Bertrand) doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

I didn't understand it at first - as I didn't realise he was actually a RB playing on the wrong side - but as we know, Ralph doesn't trust Valery (and neither do I, tbf) and Williams has PL experience of playing full back and can cover on both flanks.

Seems sensible enough as a loan.

If Williams comes in then we need to either sell or loan out Valery urgently

 

I think we lack a bit of creativity in the middle. We aren’t going to sign another CM so a winger who can also drift inside and create more chances would be lovely.

As previously mentioned, new signings can also bring out better performances from current players.

As long as we get a better player than our last deadline day move (Danso).
