Not a surprise. A good team player and willing worker. Scored some useful goals too, just not enough. Assuming he goes then 2 new strikers needed as Pato can't be relied upon if we are to have a real go at promotion. While he is not my favourite I guess Moore will come plus, ideally, a promising young loaner from a Prem club. I wouldn't say no to Brewster, just saying.......
Always liked Ward. Will bust a gut and never gives up. However, we've had a our fair share of "endeavour" up front recently with both him and Pato as options - time for some quality but skill costs. Nothing against Moore personally, but I fear more of the same if he's brought in.
Im not convinced we will sign Moore. We need players out and i dont see any fees being paid to players who are surplus other than Etheridge. So I dont think we can afford 2.5m. Moore would be a good signing though.
Interesting. Been a good servant and would be good to keep him for another season but wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Wonder what Harris' thoughts are?
As we know he doesn't have the same pace as 2 or 3 years ago but has enough in his locker for him to be closely marked so freeing up space for others. And scores a useful goal or 2. Also gives good cover to his fullback. I would prefer to keep him and perhaps extend his contract by a year to ward off Colin's interest.
Colin can come back down here and take Flint and Pack and Murphy with him back to Boro - fit 5 in his car easily.... Perhaps even squeeze Paterson in as well

Korey Smith not offered a new contract by the Wurzles. Was usually one of their better players. If we could offload Pack I'd happily take Smith as a replacement. Fits our emerging more dynamic style of play I reckon.
Kieffer incoming? https://www-gazettelive-co-uk.cdn.a...-news/kieffer-moore-due-cardiff-city-18755911
Bugger. Admittedly, given the nature of the market and our limited spending pot this is perhaps the best we can do.
I'm not his greatest fan but as William says we .just give him a chance and support. It is positive that other Championship clubs appear to have been interested and, on the face of it, we have succeeded. Colin has other front man targets in mind. Pato maybe?
He’s an old fashioned centre forward who’ll do a whole lot better than Madine and at a fraction of the cost. People may think it’ll be Warnockball with Moore but each time I saw Wigan they played good quick and attacking football. They’d have been top 6 material if they hadn’t conceded so many late goals- I think they dropped over 30 points from winning positions and many of those were at the death. As William said if he comes let’s give him a chance. Mind you we need a winger who can cross accurately to him
